Burns 2013

And now I’m up-to-date, more news arrives.

The Burns House Museum - Black Mountain is in the top left pane

My poem ‘On a Black Mountain’ is featured in the 2013 Burns Windows Project. As was the case last year (see my February 2011 post), the far-sighted people of Dumfries are celebrating poetry by adorning the windows of public spaces with poetry by contemporary poets.

If you manage to visit the market town this month, you’ll find poems in the windows of the Coach and Horses pub, the Burns House Museum, and The Globe Inn. You’ll also be able to buy a Roncadora Press pamphlet containing the highlights of last year’s event.

‘On a Black Mountain’ can also be seen in a window of the Coach and Horses, and The Globe Inn (above left, second from the top).
