Scotland’s premier literary magazine has accepted a couple of my poems.
The next issue of Gutter will feature ‘The Headaches Are Back’ and ‘Disinhibition in Aisle 32’, two poems I first road tested at the Glasgow Art Club reading in April.
That makes it a Gutter hat-trick for me, having now been selected for publication in Gutters 09, 08 and 07.
I’m in good company in this issue, of course, with work by the fabulous Kathrine Sowerby, along with 2008 T.S. Eliot Prize winner Jen Hadfield, the beautiful poetry of John Glenday, and many others including Sam Tongue, Kevin Williamson, and Elizabeth Reeder. A full list of contributors can be found here: http://freightbooks.co.uk/gutter-09-line-up-announced.html
Gutter 09 will be launched at the Edinburgh International Book Festival in August.
